TITLE: Credentialing Manager
LOCATION:
Remote with the requirement to travel on an as needed basis
REPORTS TO:
VP of Operations
KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND TEAM:
The Credentialing Manager will work collaboratively and directly with the VP of Operations and will oversee the Credentialing Supervisors, Credentialing Attorney/Analysts/Assistants, and Document Control Specialist.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Manager plays a key role within the company by taking on the responsibility of overseeing the submission process, team and making important strategic and compliance-related business decisions. The manager will also be responsible for communicating organizational updates, and needs, overseeing performance, providing guidance, coaching and support, identifying developmental needs and managing the reciprocal relationship between Credentialing Supervisors and the Company for continued success.
Specifically, the Manager will have responsibility to:
- Make final decisions for any compliance or operating procedures, across all F&I Product types.
- Monitor teams’ overall performance and that all reviews are completed within 21 business days.
- Oversee performance and managing of Credentialing Team and Document Specialist including providing guidance, feedback and support to Credentialing Supervisors, Attorneys/Credentialing Analysts including identifying developmental needs and managing the reciprocal relationship between the Credentialing Supervisors and F&I Sentinel. This includes participating in any applicable performance review procedures and formal documentation requirements.
- Oversee all product areas. This includes participating in SOP, training and library development as identified herein. Leveraging experience of Product Supervisors, making final decisions as needed.
- Oversee and collaborate with Document Control Specialist and Supervisors to create and update product library. This includes creating new SOPs and updating existing SOPs and any other material the Manager believes is necessary.
- Review legislative, regulatory or litigation material received from outside law firm to determine whether such material is relevant to the F&I Sentinel newsletter or impacts the reviews done for any area. This included determining whether such material requires any updated training for review process or change to relevant library material.
- Provide support to lender onboarding and the build of a lender’s minimum business requirements through consultation with lender on risk impacts and benchmarking to industry standards, related to all F&I Product types currently supported by company.
- Oversee all Credentialing Team onboarding and ongoing training, including the progression of Credentialing team to be released from training on each F&I product type.
- Assist Client Success and Supervisors with Product Company or Lender escalations, to provide compliance expertise and exception decision making.
Professional Qualifications:
The following knowledge, skills, education, and experiences are required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of industry-specific (automotive finance and insurance) regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with compliance, contract, regulatory or document review.
- 3-5 years of experience leading, managing, and training large teams, including mid-level management remotely.
- Adaptability and flexibility
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally effectively
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Credentialing Attorneys and Product Supervisors will not be entering into attorney-client relationships with F&I Sentinel’s customers and will not be providing legal advice.
